LE GRANDI ANNATE DI FOJANEGHE
Fojaneghe, the noble wine from the Trentino estate of Conti Bossi Fedrigotti, is the first example of a Bordeaux-style blend in Italy. Created in 1961, it embodies a significant chapter in the history of Italian winemaking. Count Federico, father of the current owners, showed great pioneering spirit by realizing that Bordeaux grapes such as Merlot and Cabernet could express their finest qualities in his region and be enhanced through skillful use of oak. He was also responsible for introducing the use of barriques.
