Following the 1997 vintage, presented in 2022 to mark Masi’s 250th anniversary, and the 1999, Masi now introduces Vajo dei Masi 2000, an expression of one of the most representative crus in the history of the Boscaini family and Valpolicella Classica, whose roots date back to 1772.

The wine is crafted from carefully selected grapes, which undergo appassimento (a drying process) followed by extended ageing in new French oak barrels. This stage is followed by an original, pioneering preservation technique designed to “stop time”: the wine is kept in stainless steel tanks under nitrogen saturation until bottling. This method allows it to preserve its freshness over time, resulting in an Amarone that combines the complexity of extended ageing with surprising vitality, celebrating the harmonious union of tradition, passion and innovation.
