VAIO ARMARON
A powerful and complex Amarone, this is a true classic of Italian winemaking. It stands as the icon of the historic Serego Alighieri estates and comes from the vineyard of the same name, which is believed to have inspired the name Amarone itself. Its elegant personality is enhanced by the use of the Serego Alighieri clone of Molinara and ageing in cherry wood barrels, a family tradition.
IN THE HEART OF VALPOLICELLA
Dante Alighieri spent some years of his exile in Verona. His son Pietro decided to settle there and, in 1353, purchased the Casal dei Ronchi estate in Gargagnago, in the heart of the Classical Valpolicella. Wine production began in the 1500s—a tradition passed down through generations and still alive today.
